We are 898com — built in Indonesia, built for Indonesians. Discover the story behind the platform that over 2 million players across Jakarta, Surabaya, Bandung, Medan, Bali, and beyond trust for fair gaming, fast payouts, and genuine local support.
898com was founded by a team of experienced gaming professionals and technology specialists who recognized a fundamental gap in Indonesia's online gambling landscape. While international platforms were theoretically accessible to Indonesian players, the experience was consistently disappointing — clunky payment processes that didn't support BCA, BRI, or BNI transfers, customer service agents who couldn't communicate in Bahasa Indonesia, and odds that failed to reflect the local market's appetite for BRI Liga 1 matches, Timnas Indonesia (the Garuda), and the AFF Cup. We knew the market deserved better.
From our earliest days, 898com was purpose-built around the Indonesian player. That meant full Indonesian Rupiah (IDR) support across every transaction — no hidden foreign exchange fees, no confusing currency conversions. It meant integrating directly with Indonesia's most-used payment infrastructure: bank transfers via BCA, BRI, BNI, Mandiri, CIMB Niaga, Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI), Bank Permata, and OCBC NISP, as well as e-wallets OVO, DANA, GoPay, ShopeePay, and LinkAja that are part of everyday financial life for millions of Indonesians. And it meant hiring and training a customer support team of native Indonesian speakers available around the clock in Western Indonesia Time (WIB, UTC+7).
Since our launch, we have grown to serve more than 2 million registered members across every major Indonesian city — from Jakarta and Surabaya in Java to Medan in North Sumatra, Makassar in Sulawesi, and Denpasar in Bali. We cover the full spectrum of betting and gaming preferences: football betting on BRI Liga 1 (with dedicated markets for Persija Jakarta, Persib Bandung, Bali United, and every other top-flight club), international leagues including the EPL, La Liga, Serie A, Bundesliga, and Champions League, as well as daily togel (Toto Gelap — Indonesia's traditional numbers-prediction lottery) draws from Singapore, Hong Kong, Sydney, and Macau. Our live casino lobby features real-time dealer games including Teen Patti, Andar Bahar, baccarat, roulette, and blackjack powered by Evolution Gaming and Ezugi. Our slots library — exceeding 400 titles — spans Pragmatic Play, NetEnt, Microgaming, Pocket Games Soft, and Spribe crash games.
Fairness and transparency are not marketing slogans at 898com — they are engineering requirements. Every game on the platform uses independently certified Random Number Generators (RNGs). RTP (Return to Player) percentages are published in each game's information panel. Bonus terms are disclosed in plain language before acceptance, not buried in fine print. Our withdrawal pipeline is engineered for speed: the vast majority of payout requests are processed within 15 minutes, with a 24-hour SLA for any edge case. We publish these commitments publicly, and our support team is accountable for them.
898com is equally committed to responsible gaming. We believe that a platform designed for long-term player loyalty must prioritize player welfare. Every 898com account comes equipped with self-managed deposit limits, weekly loss caps, session time reminders, and a voluntary self-exclusion tool that can be activated instantly from the account settings panel. Our responsible gaming page provides direct guidance to professional support organizations. We enforce a strict 21+ age policy and require government-issued KTP (Indonesian National Identity Card) verification for all withdrawal requests. We are 898com — and we are here for the long game.
